About & experience

I’m Oliviero Dall’Asta. I have been developing software since 2003 with WebbyDO, my sole proprietorship in Brescia, Italy: more than twenty years as a consultant and freelancer, on site in Brescia and remotely.

From 1996 to 2002 I was a risk manager and derivatives manager at two Italian investment firms (SIM). I know numbers and risk, not just code.

Today I mostly work on systems that are already in production and must keep running: APIs, Azure Functions, data and integrations. I use AI every day, with clear rules; the final check is always mine.

How I work

  • AI speeds up writing and analysis; reading the diff, testing and rollback stay human.
  • Project rules, documentation and commits as the shared picture of the work.
  • No secrets in the AI agent’s context.
  • Procedures written to be run again, not just said in a chat.
